Synopsis
Sue Ellen is shocked to find out that J.R. had her committed to the sanitarium and her freedom is in his hands. Jeremy Wendell extends a business offer to Miss Ellie. Pam has a hard time handling stress at Barnes/Wentworth. J.R. tries to negotiate with Pam concerning Christopher's shares of Ewing Oil. Jack Ewing spends time with Jenna and her daughter Charlie. J.R questions Harve Smithfield about whether outsiders can legally own Ewing Oil. Dusty secretly visits Sue Ellen at the sanitarium. Pam thinks she's being followed. Sue Ellen achieves a small victory in her fight against alcoholism. Cliff probes Jack Ewing's family loyalties. Pam has a surprise visitor from the past.
