Synopsis
Taylor Casey, a 41-year-old American woman, disappeared two weeks ago from the Sivananda Ashram Yoga Retreat in the Bahamas. Her family is pleading for authorities, including the FBI, to get involved after they say local police mishandled the investigation. NBC's Maggie Vespa reports for TODAY. In what could be the busiest travel week of the summer, airports and airlines are preparing travelers for long lines before boarding their flights. NBC's Tom Costello reports for TODAY. After the Supreme Court's landmark immunity decision, the judge overseeing former President Donald Trump's hush money trial in New York has postponed his sentencing that was scheduled for July 11, moving it to mid-September. NBC's Laura Jarrett joins TODAY with analysis. President Joe Biden apologized off-camera at a fundraiser in Virginia for his poor debate performance last week. This comes as former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi acknowledges concerns and Rep. Lloyd Doggett of Texas becomes the first elected Democrat to officially call for the president to leave the race.
