Synopsis
A confused Quentin learns that Edward believes he is a very experienced unemployed man-servant. Quentin and Charity stash Edward in the tower room to keep him safe. A painter arrives and Jamison answers the door saying he had commissioned his services to paint a portrait. Charity, upset that Quentin ignored her request for private time with him in the drawing room, slaps him and says he wants to go to town to be with a loose woman. Charity calls her father, Trask who is in Portland, but has to leave a message. Jamison kisses Charity on the cheek and the return call comes and she talks with a Pansy type accent saying she 'don't know a soul in Portland' and hangs up. Quentin finds the painter in the drawing room already sketching for a painting of Quentin. Charity in voice of Pansy tells Quentin that he killed his brother Carl.
