Why this series still plays
Superman as workplace rom-com: Teri Hatcher and Dean Cain circling a byline, a cape, and a secret. Nineties superhero TV that cared more about chemistry than origin homework. Daily Planet flirtation with flying lessons — light, glossy, and the version of the myth that treats Lois as the story, not the rooftop prize.
So about the byline: Teri Hatcher and Dean Cain circling a cape, a secret, and a ship that treated Lois as the story, not the rooftop prize. Deborah Joy LeVine developed the ABC series (1993–1997) as Superman workplace rom-com, cape second. (I said spoiler-free. The will-they is the serialization.) **Chemistry is canon; origin homework is optional.** Lana can keep the flying-lesson gown; the tags were already treating a look as the plot.
