Instead, he plays a dangerous game of hunter-and-hunted with the maneater that haunts the back alleys and woods surrounding the city. However, it's not long before even Scully, the eternal skeptic, is lured back by the mounting evidence Mulder manages to drag out of tourist-wary local law enforcement agencies.
