Why this series still plays
Rocky and His Friends dropped a flying squirrel, a moose, and Cold War satire into kids' animation at decade's end. Jay Ward's anarchic gift: adult-aimed jokes, Bullwinkle's mangled punchlines, Boris Badenov.
