Butch Patrick

On The Munsters, Butch Patrick is Eddie, the wolfish kid in a household that treats Universal monsters as a sitcom family. Gwynne, De Carlo, Lewis: makeup craft, a living room, no gothic pose. Patrick plays the child who thinks this is normal, which is the joke's engine. 1960s comedy that put a creature shop on a working-class lot and asked the laugh track to behave.

TV Flash keeps him because the hour needed a kid who would not wink at the bolts. Mockingbird Lane is a blue-collar family argument; Eddie is how it stays a household. On this desk Patrick is 1960s monster-sitcom craft — a son who photographs as a pointy-eared gag and plays as the reason the family feels true.

The Munsters is 1960s CBS furniture from 1964–1966, and Patrick is how this desk still sits in it. Eddie Munster is the seat: ensemble craft with a pulse, not a sticker on the open. s01e01 is the listed door. Munster Masquerade is the 1313 contract: Fred Gwynne's Herman, De Carlo's Lily, Al Lewis's Grandpa, monster makeup as a family sitcom. Listed later grammar: s01e18. If a Martian Answers, Hang Up — mid-season sci-fi knock on the parlor door, working-class gothic still the joke's engine.

We file him as The Munsters first and Eddie Munster second. 1964–1966 on CBS is the rest of the map. The listed turn is s01e02 — My Fair Munster — week-two title as the Pygmalion gag, creature-shop faces still playing the hour deadpan. s01e18 is how the run nods without a speech. If a Martian Answers, Hang Up — mid-season sci-fi knock on the parlor door, working-class gothic still the joke's engine. The rest is optional. The Munsters with Eddie Munster in it is not.
