Donald Trump

Donald Trump occupies The Apprentice as host of corporate tasks, a boardroom, a pointing finger, and a catchphrase that left the studio. Mark Burnett business theater turned a real-estate showman into a prime-time character — elimination math as entertainment. Trump is the brand as a weekly verdict: a host who makes 2000s reality television photograph as a job interview with cameras, the pointing as the plot.

NBC treated The Apprentice (2004–2017) as a going concern. Elimination math as entertainment. Donald Trump is how that concern still has the host chair.

If you want the contract, s01e01 is the door. Meet the Billionaire is origin night: Mark Burnett business theater, a real-estate showman as prime-time character, elimination math as boardroom lighting. Skip ahead to s07e13 when you need the job with weight on it. Welcome to the Club closes this pack's original-run bookend — the catchphrase long since out of the studio, the pointing finger now civic weather. Donald still reads as Host there, which is the point.

The political afterlife nobody booked as a season still sits on the same card. On TV Flash Trump is 2000s reality craft: the boardroom as a stage, the catchphrase as merch, a host hour whose aftertaste outran the tasks. Keep him on The Apprentice seating chart as Host — 2004–2017, NBC. The magazine keeps the credit honest: Host on The Apprentice, 2004–2017. The Apprentice still needs Host to look like a job, not a footnote. Donald remains legible in a single sitting if you give him a real hour.
