Kether Donohue

Kether Donohue plays Lindsay Jillian on You're the Worst, ensemble chaos around two terrible people trying something like love. The jokes stay mean; the landings go soft. A depression season still cited as sitcom craft; the circle around it has to be specific or the hour becomes a dare without a neighborhood. Lindsay is the friend as wreckage and weather.

Ground Kether in the 2014–2019 FX/FXX run of You're the Worst. Lindsay Jillian does the work. Lindsay is the friend as wreckage and weather — awful on purpose, specific enough to be a novel. Begin with s01e01. The pilot is two terrible people and mean jokes: FX/FXX anti-rom-com refusing the makeover from the first date.

Anti-rom-com honesty needed a bench that could be awful on purpose. On TV Flash Donohue is 2010s catalog voltage. We file Lindsay with the hours that refused the makeover and still made a supporting turn feel like a novel of bad decisions.

The later hour is s05e13. Pancakes is a five-season soft landing — the jokes stayed mean, the landings went soft, breakfast as the closer's joke. s02e01 is the desk's start for Lindsay Jillian. The Sweater People names the couple: PTSD and depression waiting in the wings, cynicism still the meet-cute. That is the map. Kether does not ask You're the Worst to glitter. Kether Donohue keeps You're the Worst specific so the FX/FXX run still has a pulse. FX/FXX (2014–2019) remains the assignment; Kether Donohue is the human checkpoint. Start for the contract, stay for Lindsay Jillian underneath it.
