Paul W. Downs

Paul W. Downs is Trey Pucker on Broad City, boyfriend-adjacent chaos in a New York scrape that treats friendship as jet fuel. Weed, hustle, loyalty that outruns plot. Comedy Central web-series energy: urban picaresques, guest-star sport, millennial buddy comedy at full volume. Downs sells the hapless as a person, not a punching bag — chaos first, shame never. The hour is the city as a dare.

On TV Flash he is 2010s catalog ensemble craft. We file Trey with the hours that made female friendship the main event. Watch the boyfriend weather. Downs is why the series still photographs as a group chat with legs. Volume up. No apology.

Downs as Trey Pucker is load-bearing on s01e01 and s02e01 alike. What a Wonderful World is Abbi and Ilana, weed and hustle: web-series energy on Comedy Central, millennial buddy volume up. In Heat is a weather title: urban hustle still the picaresque, guest-star sport still the extra. That pairing is how a 2010s catalog hour stays a job on Comedy Central instead of a thesis.

Trey Pucker is the chair Paul occupies on Comedy Central. Trey Pucker is the supporting weather on Broad City: mute him and the room thins. s01e01 remains the door; s05e10 is where the hour stops introducing itself. Broad City titles the last hour as the name on the door — loyalty outrunning plot, female picaresque filing the city.

Downs does not need a third metaphor. s05e10 and s02e01 already locate Trey Pucker on Broad City. Broad City titles the last hour as the name on the door — loyalty outrunning plot, female picaresque filing the city.
