Ted Raimi

Ted Raimi plays Joxer on Xena: Warrior Princess, the would-be warrior inside syndicated pulp that turned a reformed hero and a sidekick bard into a fan army. Chakrams, camp, moral rehab, villains who return like soap. Raimi makes Joxer a comic instrument the hour keeps promoting — not a gag you can skip, a friend the myth has to account for. Spun from a neighboring universe; friendship is the real plot.

Ted Raimi is Joxer before he is anything else. Xena: Warrior Princess on Syndication, 1995–2001. Start s01e01. Sins of the Past: reformed warrior, sidekick bard, Lucy Lawless already turning pulp. Raimi still belongs in the frame when s01e01 lands: Sins of the Past: reformed warrior, sidekick bard, Lucy Lawless already turning pulp. Xena: Warrior Princess on Syndication (1995–2001) keeps using him as Joxer.

Watch s02e10 for the key change on Xena: Warrior Princess. The Xena Scrolls: camp as continuity joke, friendship still the real mythology under. s04e01 is the second door.
