Tommy Flanagan

Tommy Flanagan plays Filip “Chibs” Telford on Sons of Anarchy, the 2000s FX outlaw soap Kurt Sutter staged as Hamlet with Harleys. Jax Teller questions the motorcycle club his father built; Katey Sagal’s Gemma keeps the blood in the books; seven seasons of betrayal accounting. Flanagan’s Chibs is the Scottish muscle in Charming — scar as biography, loyalty as bylaw.

Papers: Sons of Anarchy, FX, 2008–2014. 2000s catalog, not a rumor. Jax Teller questions the outlaw motorcycle club his father built while blood, guns, and loyalty close in on a California town. Flanagan plays Filip 'Chibs' Telford as load-bearing weather. He is the job named on this page: 2000s prestige-outlaw ensemble — loyalty as a club bylaw, not a speech.

Begin at s01e01. Pilot puts Jax Teller on the club his father built: Kurt Sutter's FX Hamlet, Charlie Hunnam and Katey Sagal already in a blood ledger. s02e01 is the fluent middle: Albification opens year two on a title that sounds like a threat: Charming's bargains expanding, the club still the family that will not let go. Hold s07e13 for the later stake — Papa's Goods is the seven-season closer — outlaw loyalty billed at last, prestige-biker accounting that refused to stay a niche. Watch him in those seats. Position, not invented plot.

Prestige outlaw television for the antihero decade’s cable hunger. On TV Flash Flanagan is ensemble steel: not the prince, the soldier who makes the club look like a workplace with funerals. Watch him when the table talks loyalty. The desk files Chibs as the reason Charming still has an accent and a pulse.
