Utkarsh Ambudkar

Utkarsh Ambudkar plays Jay on Ghosts, the 2020s CBS multi-cam that proved a U.S. remake can become the thing you actually quote at Thanksgiving. A haunted mansion: a Viking, a twenties singer, a scoutmaster, and the living couple stuck hosting them. Lovability as structure, not a brand note. Ambudkar is the living husband — skepticism, timing, a straight man who still wants the house to work.

On CBS, Ghosts since 2021 still treats a 2020s living room like an appointment. A couple inherits a country estate packed with ghosts only one of them can see. Utkarsh Ambudkar answers as Jay. 2020s network comedy craft: the husband who treats ghosts like a housing problem with jokes — that is the filing, and he is the pulse.

The pilot as Thanksgiving-quote contract: U.S. remake that became the thing you cite, multi-cam mansion, living couple stuck hosting a century of punchlines. That is s01e01, still behaving like a contract. s02e01 proves it survived opening night: Spies as season-two launch: dead-letter intelligence, still Viking-and-flapper math, still proof a remake can out-quote the pitch meeting. s05e22 is the later hour — Across the Pond as latest listed hour: the title nodding at the British original, CBS lovability still the sport, still a haunted sitcom you can air at dinner. Utkarsh Ambudkar as Jay is why those numbers still have a face.

Network comedy that treats the afterlife as roommates. On TV Flash he is 2020s ensemble heat: not a guest in a ghost plot, the mortal who makes the bit a marriage. Watch the mansion. Jay is why the hour still photographs as a sitcom you would actually live in.
