Zoë Kravitz

Zoë Kravitz plays Bonnie Carlson on Big Little Lies, David E. Kelley’s 2010s HBO Monterey mom-noir: movie-star athleisure, a death under the fundraiser smile. Kidman, Witherspoon, Dern, Woodley, Kravitz as a casting event; season one is the closed mystery, season two the aftershock. Mom-noir as awards-bait weather. Kravitz is Bonnie — stillness, heat, a neighbor who makes the lie feel like a circle, not a solo confession.

Big Little Lies is HBO's 2010s machine (2017–2019). Privileged Monterey parents hide abuse, rivalry, and a death on the beach under school-fundraiser smiles. Zoë Kravitz as Bonnie Carlson is how that machine keeps a human temperature. She returns in the frame because the hour needs her. File the run, then the performance.

First code: s01e01. Somebody's Dead opens Monterey mom-noir as a casting event — Kidman, Witherspoon, Dern under a fundraiser smile. Then s02e01, where What Have They Done? returns movie-star athleisure to a solved death — awards-bait aftershock as the second-season product. s02e07 remains the turn: I Want to Know closes the Meryl aftershock: season two filing a mystery the first season had already closed. Essentials as seating. Kravitz is the reason to sit there.

The fundraiser is the still; she is the group. On TV Flash Kravitz is 2010s ensemble steel: not a cameo in athleisure, a performer who made the mystery feel communal. Watch the bluff. Bonnie is why Big Little Lies still photographs as a we, not a she.

Zoë Kravitz on Big Little Lies is Bonnie Carlson — HBO, 2017–2019, 2010s catalog. Watch her for the job named in the brief. The living room already knew the show; Kravitz is why the still has a person in it.
