Outlander
Time-travel romance epic — kilts, politics, and book-fandom power.
cable network
Starz
Starz is premium cable with two house myths: Outlander sending a WWII nurse through standing stones into 18th-century Scotland, Power putting Omari Hardwick's Ghost between a nightclub and the Queens past he cannot wash clean. Historical fantasy and crime soap — not a broadcast casserole, not a kids' streamer.
On TV Flash, Starz is the premium-cable address for bodies, loyalty, and a weekly drip of betrayal. Outlander is Claire, Jamie, politics, and time as a marriage; Power is Ghost wanting the club to launder the life, Tommy refusing the past, a fandom that turned one series into a universe of glossy rot. This is not USA's sunshine mystery. It is pay cable that likes a love story that costs and a crime story that never clocks out.
Start with Outlander if you want the historical-fantasy epic, Power if you want the nightclub crime soap at full volume. Two temperatures: standing stones and Queens. Both are Starz as appetite.
FAQ
What did Starz mean as premium cable?
Starz in this catalog is Outlander and Power: female-driven historical fantasy and glossy crime soap. Premium cable as appetite — bodies, loyalty, weekly betrayal. Not HBO's civic novel. A second pay-cable mood with a stone circle and a nightclub.
Where should I start with Starz on TV Flash?
Start with Outlander for the time-cross marriage and the Scotland epic, Power for Ghost, Tommy, and the Queens-to-clubhouse drip. Two titles — pick stones or streets. Rewatch whichever one still has unfinished arguments in your group chat.
How does Starz differ from Showtime?
Showtime's TV Flash shelf is Dexter, Homeland, Weeds, Yellowjackets — killer POV, CIA pulse, suburban contraband. Starz is Outlander and Power: period fantasy and crime soap. Same premium-cable physics, different house myths — standing stones versus a Miami blood-spatter lab.
