CBS News and Stations
CBS News and Stations on this hub is a frog under stress and a pig who will not share the spotlight. The Muppet Show is the TV Flash title — Kermit keeping vaudeville catastrophe on the rails, Miss Piggy karate-chopping toward diva status, A-list guests walking into felt chaos. Songs, balcony hecklers, mixed-age variety that still works.
The Muppet Show is variety as a weekly near-death experience. Kermit holds the panic and the cue. Miss Piggy karate-chops toward diva status. Statler and Waldorf heckle from the balcony. A-list guests walk into felt chaos and leave as part of the bit. Songs stick. The backstage is the plot. Mixed-age living rooms got an hour that did not talk down.
The CBS News and Stations page files that syndication hit as a catalog title, not a news package. Start with a guest you already love; stay for the frog under stress. Watch it as the revival of a form television kept declaring dead. Chaos with a band. Kindness with a karate chop. A theater that cannot behave and a host who will not quit.
