RTVE
RTVE, Spain's public broadcaster, attaches to The Muppet Show on this hub: Kermit trying to keep a vaudeville catastrophe on the rails while Miss Piggy karate-chops her way to diva status. Jim Henson's UK-made syndication hit put A-list guests in felt chaos and revived variety for mixed-age living rooms. Songs, balcony hecklers, a frog under stress.
The Muppet Show is the RTVE catalog title — Kermit sweating a vaudeville catastrophe, Piggy as diva with a karate chop, Statler and Waldorf in the balcony. Henson's UK-made syndication hit put A-list guests in felt and revived variety for mixed-age rooms. Songs, hecklers, a frog under stress. Spain's public broadcaster is on the credit; the show is the backstage panic in foam.
Start on TV Flash with The Muppet Show and stay for a guest who has to share the frame with a pig. The slate feels like an international variety handshake — RTVE on the file, felt chaos as the house style, a theater that is always almost collapsing.
