Somebody Somewhere
Kansas grief and found family — Bridget Everett's quiet miracle.
Production studio
The Mighty Mint
The Mighty Mint put Somebody Somewhere on HBO as Bridget Everett's Kansas miracle: grief, karaoke, and found family in a town that is not a punchline. Quietest great comedy, canceled before it should have been, which is now part of the ache. Small-town kindness without the Hallmark glaze, a lead who sings the feeling the plot cannot say. TV Flash files the karaoke night as the chapel.
Somebody Somewhere is the Mighty Mint catalog title — Everett in Kansas, grief and karaoke, found family in a town that is not a punchline. HBO's quietest great comedy, canceled before it should have been, which is now part of the ache. Small-town kindness without the Hallmark glaze. A lead who sings the feeling the plot cannot say. The karaoke night is the chapel.
Start on TV Flash with Somebody Somewhere and let it be small. The slate feels like a production company betting on warmth without glaze — Mighty Mint on the card, a cancellation that hurts because the kindness was real, Kansas as a place instead of a joke.
