Edward James Olmos commanded Battlestar Galactica as Admiral William Adama — gravel, duty, and political sci-fi with real teeth. Miami Vice’s Castillo came earlier; Adama made him genre prestige’s moral backbone. On TV Flash, “so say we all” still sounds like his voice.
