Shemar Moore

Shemar Moore plays Derek Morgan on Criminal Minds, the agent who makes the bullpen feel like a household against formulaic dark. CBS packaged serial-killer dread as appointment television: the jet, the profile board, the unsub of the week. Moore supplies the voltage that keeps the ritual human — loyalty, muscle, a warmth the hour needs so the dread does not become a screensaver.

Derek Morgan is the assignment Moore actually clocks. Criminal Minds ran 2005–2020 on CBS: An elite FBI unit profiles serial offenders across America — formulaic. s01e01 still behaves like an origin. Extreme Aggressor opens the bullpen: serial-killer dread as appointment ritual, Reid's brain and Garcia's color. He is 2000s craft on CBS: Derek Morgan as weekly weather, s01e01 as the door. Criminal Minds does not replace Moore with a different product at s02e01. The Fisher King (2) finishes an early two-parter: the show teaching viewers the case. He is still Derek Morgan.

s19e10 argues in the title. Bad Blood is a late-revival bookend in this pack - the jet still flying. Hold s02e01 for the second argument: The Fisher King (2) finishes an early two-parter: the show teaching viewers the case. Shemar keeps Derek Morgan from dissolving into format. He stays Derek Morgan while Criminal Minds changes keys. s19e10 is the proof.

The series lasted long enough to grow streaming folklore. Morgan is why the team photographs as a family instead of a logo. On TV Flash Moore is 2000s crime-hour craft: the partner who makes the board look like work, and the work look like a reason to keep flying.
