Walton Goggins

Walton Goggins’ Ghoul — Cooper Howard in the wasteland weather — stole Fallout’s power-armor discourse: Prime Video’s 2024–present game adaptation as vault satire, funny on purpose, nasty on purpose, lore-cops forced to actually watch. Goggins makes irradiated cowboy cool feel like a threat and a joke in the same grin. s01e01 teaches tone, not a wiki. s01e04 is ghoul-hour gravity, the character the tags married. s01e08 holds season one with a joke title. That smile never means safety.

The White Lotus season 3 put him on the brochure as Rick Hatchett — new island, new villains, same Sunday hold, a casting announcement that behaves like a second season. HBO still runs a Sunday hold in the dump era. The listed s01 hours are the franchise tone contract, not his island; the desk files him as season-three ice. Appointment tourism with a body count in the brochure. Streaming prestige’s least trustworthy vacation.

FX’s The Shield (2002–2008) earlier cast him as Shane Vendrell — Vic Mackey’s Strike Team, antihero cop as operating system, a bill paid in full. s01e01 is the thesis; s07e13 (Family Meeting) closes without a forgiveness tour. Justified (FX, 2010–2015) made him Boyd Crowder, Leonard cool as a long flirtation with Olyphant’s hat. s01e01 (Fire in the Hole) already has the flirtation; s06e13 keeps the promise. On TV Flash the wasteland grin leads. The catalog orbit is how the desk remembers the smile was never safe.

Start with ghoul-hour gravity if you want the tags’ marriage; stay for Harlan if you want the drawl. He is not a one-grin novelty. He is why a game dump, a resort brochure, a Strike Team, and a Kentucky feud can share a face without sharing a hug. Character-actor supernova. Trust him as far as a wasteland sprint.
