Caesar's Hour kept the live-sketch flame after Your Show of Shows, with a writers' room that stocked American comedy for decades. Sid Caesar's gang, slightly different stage, same unfair talent density. A 2026 comedy nerd watches it as the farm system for the jokes that later filled movies, sitcoms, and late night.
