How this season is filed
The purest high-concept 1980s action toy — Hasselhoff and KITT chemistry is the whole meal. Glen Larson's talking Trans Am, William Daniels voicing the scanner-bar co-lead, turbo boosts as Friday-night science fantasy. Glorious sincerity, excellent car. Kit, I need you is still a prayer at red lights; later reboots keep failing upward toward the charm.
