West Texas oil as Sheridan soap: Billy Bob Thornton managing boomtown crises, family mess, and money that smells like diesel. Watch for Paramount+'s next ratings play after Yellowstone, and for industry-accuracy arguments that only erupt when a show looks too much like actual work. Grit here is entertainment, not a documentary excuse.
