How this season is filed

Filed by Vivian Cross · The Carpet Report

Mister Ed is the talking-horse sitcom that should have been a one-joke disaster and instead ran for years. Alan Young's Wilbur is the only human who must manage equine gossip while the palomino (voiced by Allan Lane) steals every scene. High-concept silliness executed with vaudeville patience — and a theme song that still colonizes the brain on contact.

TV Flash files Season 3 of Mister Ed (1961–1966) on CBS as a mid listed season (3; 3 of 6) — 26 listed hours, 1962-09-27–1963-05-12 from “Ed Gets Amnesia” (S03E01) to “The Blessed Event” (S03E26). Titles, dates, and synopses on file — no invented recaps.
