How this season is filed

Filed by Max Sterling · Streaming Confidential

Mo Amer's Palestinian-American hustle comedy with immigration paperwork as the real antagonist. Houston, family, and asylum limbo treated as both joke engine and wound. Watch for immigrant comedy that holds actual stakes without becoming a TED Talk, and for a two-season run that felt heavier than the calendar suggested.
