How this season is filed

Filed by Tessa Quinn · Spoiler-Free (Mostly)

Lindsay Wagner's Jaime Sommers flips the Six Million Dollar template with warmth, steel, and an Emmy in the bargain. Tennis pro, bionic rebuild, federal agent — female-led network action that stood alone in ratings and merch. Slow-mo franchise essential, not a side dish.

TV Flash files Season 3 of The Bionic Woman (1976–1978) on ABC/NBC as the last listed season of 3 — 22 listed hours, 1977-09-10–1978-05-13 from “The Bionic Dog (1)” (S03E01) to “On the Run” (S03E22). Titles, dates, and synopses on file — no invented recaps.

Desk essentials in this season

  1. S03E03 Fembots in Las Vegas (1)

Fembots in Las Vegas (1) is toyetic menace in a neon title. The series owning merch-era robot doubles while Wagner still plays the human center, not a sidekick in her own hour.

  2. S03E22 On the Run

On the Run is the 1978 closer. Three seasons of Jaime Sommers as a franchise, then a fugitive-title bow: slow-mo essential that never needed Austin in the room to work.
