Nana Visitor

Nana Visitor plays Kira Nerys on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, the 1990s hour that finally let Trek stay put. Avery Brooks’s Sisko commands a politically charged station near a wormhole; serialization, war, and religion get messy. Berman and Piller’s seven-season novel argues with utopia — Bajor, the Dominion War, moral gray The Next Generation often dodged. Visitor’s Kira is that gray as a person.

Nana Visitor stays inside Star Trek: Deep Space Nine's 1990s map: Syndication put Kira Nerys on the 1993–1999 run and she still has to play it. Nana Visitor is the temperature Syndication actually had to cast for the 1993–1999 run. Keep the camera on Nana Visitor when Star Trek: Deep Space Nine wants to become merchandise. If the clip dies, Nana Visitor's Kira Nerys should still make sense on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine.

Nana Visitor needs no montage when s01e01 exists. Emissary, Part I: Sisko on a politically charged station, the franchise already arguing with utopia from a wormhole. Nana Visitor is habit, not a pitch, by s03e01. The Search, Part I: serialization as house style, Bajor and the Gamma Quadrant no longer reset-button weather. Nana Visitor shows the chair was a plan at s04e01. The Way of the Warrior: Klingon heat as a novel chapter, Berman and Piller letting the station become a war desk.

Neutral ground until history arrives. Visitor sells the station as a wound and a home. On TV Flash she is 1990s franchise steel — the Kira who made a serial feel like a novel, and the reason the hour still photographs as politics instead of a reset button.
