How this season is filed

Filed by Rex Fontaine · Golden Age Dispatch

Knowing is half the battle, and the other half is a thirty-minute firefight before a public-service announcement. Hasbro's military toy brand as weekly serial: Cobra Commander's hiss, Duke's jawline, and patriotic action that never quite admits it's a catalog. Peak 1980s kids-TV dissonance — then you wanted the vehicle anyway.
