How this season is filed
Buck Owens and Roy Clark hold a cornfield variety court: country hits, cornball sketches, Hee Haw Honeys, and rural syndication that outlived CBS's purge. Front-porch vaudeville as a long-running television habit. Music guests plus joke-book shamelessness that still smells like hay, overalls, and ratings.
