Melonville's fake television network lets Second City Canada's sharpest — John Candy, Catherine O'Hara, Eugene Levy, Andrea Martin — satirize the medium from inside the broadcast. Writers' sketch comedy at championship density. Deep-cut characters, not just the Hollywood alumni list, plus station IDs worth quoting forever.

TV Flash files Season 1 of SCTV (1976–1984) on Global / Syndicated / NBC as the first listed season of 3 — 26 listed hours, 1976-09-21–1977-12-12 from “Backstage” (S01E01) to “Lust for Paint” (S01E26). Titles, dates, and synopses on file — no invented recaps.
