How this season is filed

Filed by Julian Hart · The Binge Brief

Two brothers named Pete and a suburb that behaves like an indie film. Nickelodeon live-action at its most poetic: endless summer, garage bands, Artie the Strongest Man, kid logic as literature. Cult TV adults still hunt — weird without winking, gentle without going soft, a kids’ show that feels like a lucky secret.
