How this season is filed

Filed by Julian Hart · The Binge Brief

Whoof whoof whoof: late night with a fist-pump Dog Pound, hip-hop guests the other desks wouldn't book, and Bill Clinton's saxophone as political-TV folklore. Arsenio broke the monochrome late-night mold in syndication at the decade's end. The door he opened still matters — and the cancellation still reads like a turf war.
