How this season is filed

Filed by Lana Reyes · Red Carpet Reality

Sonny's bobblehead grin, Cher's Bob Mackie armor, and marital digs that stopped feeling like a bit. Variety as a couple brand, then a public divorce plot twist. The hour that made Cher a comedy and fashion force beyond radio, while the marriage imploded in prime time.

Desk essentials in this season

  1. S03E01 Show 44 - Season Premiere

Show 44 is a season premiere in the late couple run. Variety still a two-person company: the grin, the gowns, the jokes about the marriage getting harder to file as a bit.

  2. S03E20 Show 63 - Valentine's Day Episode

Show 63, the Valentine's Day episode, is the 1974-adjacent bow. Couple variety on a romance holiday: the marriage imploding in prime time, Mackie armor outlasting the grin.
