How this season is filed
Today invented waking up with television: Dave Garroway, a chimpanzee co-host, and the mix of news, weather, and chatter still fighting every weekday morning. TV Flash files Season 2008 of Today (1952–present) on NBC as a mid listed season (2008; 5 of 22) — 1 listed hour, 2009-02-28 opening on “Feb 28, 2008” (S2008E40). Broadcast log — titles and dates, not a plot bible.
