How this season is filed
Today invented waking up with television: Dave Garroway, a chimpanzee co-host, and the mix of news, weather, and chatter still fighting every weekday morning. A 2026 reader watches the original American morning-show contract — coffee, headlines, and the idea that a network should greet you before work.
TV Flash files Season 2022 of Today (1952–present) on NBC as a mid listed season (2022; 18 of 22) — 3 listed hours, 2022-01-03–2022-01-05 from “Kenan Thompson” (S2022E01) to “January 5, 2022” (S2022E03). Broadcast log — titles and dates, not a plot bible.
