How this season is filed
Today invented waking up with television: Dave Garroway, a chimpanzee co-host, and the mix of news, weather, and chatter still fighting every weekday morning. A 2026 reader watches the original American morning-show contract — coffee, headlines, and the idea that a network should greet you before work.
TV Flash files Season 2021 of Today (1952–present) on NBC as a mid listed season (2021; 17 of 22) — 4 listed hours, 2021-01-01–2021-01-21 from “Happy New Year” (S2021E01) to “21 January 2021” (S2021E15). Broadcast log — titles and dates, not a plot bible.
